China Interim Government Opposes Violent Attacks Targeting Civilians

Recently, several incidents involving violent attacks occurred in various provinces and cities in China.  The situation regarding these incidents remains unclear.  Investigations into the background and who were behind these violent incidents are still pending.  The China Interim Government hereby issues the following statement:

1. CIG opposes any violent attack targeting civilians.  According to the "Guiding Principles and Detailed Operating Rules for the Chinese People in Upholding Basic Rights and Resisting Violence" issued at CIG’s inception, the interim government proposes the following initiative: during the process of dissolving the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), persuasion and peaceful destruction should be used to target the number one person -- the First Party Secretary -- at all levels of the CCP.  That is, push the Party Secretaries at all levels to resign voluntarily or involuntarily, thus causing all administrative jurisdictions to "disengage" from the CCP, and finally create a situation where the entire country will "disengage" from the CCP.

2. For the general public, the best approach to upholding their basic rights and resisting violence is to "three quit" (i.e., to quit the CCP, the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers), and to put up posters.  Compared to the CCP's organs of violence, the ordinary masses are a weaker group.  To confront the CCP with violence would result in serious casualties.  Currently, the only way to uphold the basic rights of the ordinary masses is to disintegrate the CCP.  And the best approach to dissolving the CCP is to quit it.  Posting of posters will let more people know the truth, and revelation of the truth is what the CCP fears most.  Once the majority of the Chinese people know the truth, the dissolution of the CCP will happen as a matter of course.

3. We oppose any inclination toward separation or independence of any region.  The problems facing various nationalities in various areas should be resolved under federation framework of the future China.  The CCP's rule by violence has led to unusually harsh conditions of existence for the people in Xinjiang Region, causing some to resort to extreme means of resistance.  These actions are entirely the result of the people being forced into desperation by the CCP.  As long as the rule by violence of the CCP exists, the Xinjiang issue will not go away.  Following the dissolution of the CCP, Xinjiang Region will be expected to exercise a high level of autonomy under federation framework.  The living conditions for the people will be entirely different from that under the CCP's rule, and also the Xinjiang problem will be solved readily.
